TOUR AROUND PAMPLONA This morning we had breakfast, picked up our picnic and then we went to see the historical center of Pamplona.  A nice, bearded man was waiting for us. He was our guide. He took us to the main squares of the city, and he explained us the history of the sculptures, the meaning of the coat of Arms of Navarre… then we went to San Nicolás church, which has a really impressive organ in an upper floor. Finally, he showed us the town hall. It has a very decorated facade. We liked it a lot! TALKING ABOUT THIS AMAZING WEEK We have been talking about what we liked the most during this week.  We have chosen the Zaragoza Aquarium above all, because it was very funny and we learnt a lot. Also, we have been talking about things to change, and we preferred more free time and less bus. Finally, we have played a game to have fun all together and we have gone to have lunch. BARDENAS REALES- OLITE- PAMPLONA THE MOVIE SCENE OF BARDENAS Today we visited Bardenas Reales. It is a semidesert but in the past there was a big lake there. In this semidesert the militars explode explosives, but the birds are used to them. In this place they filmed «Game of Thrones» and in this semidesert it doesn't rain very often. We could see the different layers of the mountains in the past. THE MAGIC OF OLITE PALACE Today we went to the Olite Palace. It was built between 1402-1424.  It was destroyed by a fire during the Napoleon war. Then it was rebuilt again. It has five towers. It was very luxurious. It was interesting, and the guide was very nice. CATCHING UP WITH HEMINGWAY Hemingway’s activity was very interesting and funny. He was «crazy».  We played some games about art, literature and theatre. Hemingway was an American writer, he wrote The Old Man and the Sea, Farewell to Arms, For whom the Bell Tolls…

JACA-SAN JUAN DE LA PEÑA- FOZ OF LUMBIER THE MAGIC OF LEARNING ABOUT ARCHITECTURE IN JACA Today we went to Jaca and we visited the citadel and the cathedral.   In the cathedral we played a game in English about finding four parts of the cathedral and trying to explain the meaning of those parts. We were very excited and it was cool. IN THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN IN SAN JUAN DE LA PEÑA San Juan de la Peña is near Jaca. It’s half a cave and half a building.  It’s a romanic and gothic monastery. It’s cool because there are tombs of Kings and Queens of Aragón. There was a lot of snow and it was funny. The views of the mountains were awesome! FLYING WITH THE VULTURES IN LUMBIER'S FOZ Today we visited the Foz of Lumbier. We saw different types of trees depending on the leaves.  Then we saw the griffon vulture. Finally we saw a sheep falling down. It was really funny!

ORDESA NATIONAL PARK: LET IT SNOW First of all we watched a documentary about Ordesa National Park.  In Spain there are 15 national parks and this one was the second one. It is one hundred years old. Then, we visited a room with some extinct animals, like the bucardo, the dodo and the Tasmanian tiger.  We think that the documentary was interesting, but we preferred the room about the animals. The best thing was the views, with the snow! FEELING NATURE WITH THE 5 SENSES We had very good weather this morning. It was sunny. We went to walk next to the river. It was very funny to play with the snow. We made a snowman, his name was Antoñito . He passed away as he lost his head. We will miss you Antoñito! 😁 THE SECRETS BEHINGD CANFRANC STATION Today we have visited Canfranc International train station. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century.  The train station is between France and Spain. In 1970 the train derailed and no
